Have you seen the White City?



This was taken at 'Middeleeuws Ommen', a small medieval festival. We were some of the very few visitors who arrived in costume, which drew a lot of attention!

Seeing me as a ranger (or Robin Hood, as I have now been dubbed), a certain person's dad lent me a hare skin ("DOOD KONIJN" O_O ) to add to my costume. The things people keep in their attics... :D

I hate living in Texas. While you have Medieval Festivals, we have oil festivals. Amazing costume. Fav'ed.

We literally do have oil festivals, which isn't an exaggeration or stereotype. We have Oktoberfest here, but that's about as far as it gets- however most of America isn't that bad, this state is just... Bias? No, stubborn in their beliefs. Other states have renaissance fairs, medieval events, and many other things, but I've seen but one in all of Texas, which is a fairly large state... >.>
