This is the result of me being bored one day, and wondering what else I could do with that pink wig..

Tonks is one of my favourite characters from the books, and though I do like the way she's portrayed in the movies, I'm not sure I'm going to do that exact version of her (can't see it on this photo, but the trousers and boots etc are the same as in the fifth film, just not the top and coat yet)- especially not the hair, I didn't think it looked good.

See this as a kind of try-out.

The necklace is nice. I noticed you said in the other pic that you made it and the wand.

I hope you don't mind, but I have some questions....
How did you make the necklace? How'd you get the wand so smooth?

The necklace I made by threading five half-round bronze metal buttons onto five bits of leather cord that I dyed the right colour with watered-down black fabric paint. At most hobby shops you can get box clasps ([link]) which you put on the ends of the leather cords so there's a little ring at each end which you can connect to other rings and/or the clasp.
Would it help if I uploaded a close-up of it?

The wand's easy- get a wooden dowel from the DIY store and sand it down with files and sandpaper until it's the right shape, then paint it. You get it smooth by sanding it.
